Although I’m a huge fan of Mikey, I always understood why Eddie wanted to tour with his son Wolf. Wolf nails the bass parts and backing vocals here, has proven to be an amazing solo artist, and Mike always has a gig with Sammy.

This is great to just see these guys together 40 years later but go listen to the live one from 81’

IDK. It just seems to me like Roth had very little respect for these great pieces Eddie wrote. Talking and gyrating over every tasty lick.

For all the people crapping on Dave... First he never claimed to be a "singer". He's a front man and a vocalist. That and most great singers couldn't have kept up with him for the first several albums. Second, the first thing to go in the band is usually the vocalist's vocal cords. A man can press a piano key at 99 years old and it will sound exactly like when he was 10 years old. Much the same with drums and the guitar... and even Eddie was not what he was thirty years earlier. Second, you go to a concert to see the band not to hear them. If you want to hear them stay home and listen to the CD. Fourth, Eddie was the sound of Van Halen and David was the heart. Ask any cover band who they're scared to play; David or Sammy era, and they will always say Dave. Take a quick listen to "Girl gone bad" vs. "How do I know when it's love" and you'll see what I mean. Dave was dangerous and he destroyed his body for our entertainment. Show some respect.
